Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by The Fresh Face Lounge to explain what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 2026

Who we are

The Fresh Face Lounge, 2 St Johns Hill, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 3NP (located in Design A Head). You can reach us at jess@thefreshfacelounge.co.uk or 07388 028919. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.

What we collect

  • Booking details — your name, email address, phone number, chosen treatment and add-ons, appointment date and time, and any notes you share with us.
  • Enquiries — the name, email address and message you send through our contact form or by email, phone or social media.
  • Technical information — basic data your browser sends when you visit, such as your device type and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and secure.

We only ask for what we need. Please don't send sensitive health information through the website — you can share anything relevant with Jess in person at your consultation.

Why we use it

  • To arrange, confirm and manage your appointment.
  • To reply to your questions and provide aftercare guidance.
  • To keep records of treatments carried out, and to run the salon day to day.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

Our lawful bases are performing our agreement with you (bookings), our legitimate interests (running and securing the salon), and your consent where you have given it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and bookings — our website and database hosting provider, and Google Maps, which loads a map on our contact page and footer. Links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply. We may also share information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and treatment records for as long as needed to look after you as a client and to meet our legal and insurance obligations, then delete them. Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted once the conversation is finished.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email jess@thefreshfacelounge.co.uk and we'll respond as quickly as we can. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

Our website and booking data are hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls, and information is sent over an encrypted connection. No website can promise perfect security, but we take sensible steps to protect what you share and we limit who can see it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the salon or the website changes. The date above shows when it was last reviewed. If you have any questions at all, just ask — we're happy to explain.
